This invention relates to the chemical and pharmaceutical industry and relates to a method for the preparation of a medicament.
The aim of the invention is to increase stability.
Sucralfate suspensions are prepared by mixing the components and homogenizing. The finished suspensions can be packaged in packaging materials commonly used for pharmaceutical suspensions, for example bottles, ampoules or mouth packs or mouth packs. The active substance retains, during any storage period, the form of a suspension, without irreversible sedimentation, not being crumpled or deposited on the walls of the packaging means.
Sucralfate suspensions, as well as known drugs containing sucralfate, are used to protect and treat the affected mucous membrane of the human digestive tract,
in particular to relieve pain and treat gastric and duodenal ulcer diseases. In veterinary medicine, this agent may be used against vomiting and / or diarrhea. Typically, in the treatment of relevant diseases, a suspension with a dosage similar to that used in the known administration forms of sucralfate is administered orally. But if necessary, they can also be introduced into the rectum, which is an advantage of the proposed sucralfate suspensions.

Invention Formula
A method for producing sucralfate by mixing the active substance with water and auxiliary substances, characterized in that, in order to increase stability, the salt of phosphoric or citric acid and xanthan gum are added to the sucralfate in an amount of 1-5 wt%, calculated on sucralfate.
